OUR CABIN

We bought an abandoned, foreclosed log cabin in the Catskills in the fall of 2015. The house had a few trees on the roof and six feet of water in the basement. Over the course of five years, we slowly gut renovated the log cabin ourselves, from plumbing and electrical to tile and sheetrock. We even installed our own geothermal HVAC. We saved building supplies form set design gigs and picked up dream furniture at estate sales along the way. It took us almost six months to hand-sand the entire interior and I can still say this renovation project proved to be one of the highlights of my life.

When our work brought us to the west coast in January of 2020, we decided to turn our home into the most special rental experience we could imagine. We’re proud to be one of Airbnb’s most loved homes.
